Get started with Motion through our app

We’re now welcoming new members at our San Francisco clinic, right in SoMa.

Sample in-app messaging conversation between Motion Care Advocate and sample member, Julia Motion: 'Hi Julia, welcome to Motion! How can we help you today? Would you like to schedule an appointment?' Julia: 'Yes, that would be great.' Motion: 'To better match you to one of our clinicians, can you give us a little more information?' Motion sends Julia a link: 'Tell us about your issue or injury'

Want to refer patients?

If you’re a clinician who wants to refer patients with musculoskeletal issues, we’d love to help.

About me

I've been practicing Sports Medicine in the Bay Area for the past 9 years. While training to become a physician, I gravitated toward the patients who were motivated to return to or maintain an active lifestyle. I believe everyone is an athlete!

Special interests

My favorite part of being a sports medicine doctor is helping people understand their physical challenges and then working to overcome them. In addition to traditional injury evaluations, I can provide patients with diagnostic ultrasound, injection treatments, and regenerative medicine procedures.

Clinical scope

Order and interpret imaging
Perform diagnostic ultrasound
Prescribe medication
Prescribe equipment
Refer and coordinate care with other specialists

How I move

I’ve traditionally been a runner, spinner and general exercise class enthusiast. Recently, I started learning to play basketball and taking dance classes. Dance parties at home with my kids are my favorite stress reliever.
