Get started with Motion through our app

We’re now welcoming new members at our San Francisco clinic, right in SoMa.

Sample in-app messaging conversation between Motion Care Advocate and sample member, Julia Motion: 'Hi Julia, welcome to Motion! How can we help you today? Would you like to schedule an appointment?' Julia: 'Yes, that would be great.' Motion: 'To better match you to one of our clinicians, can you give us a little more information?' Motion sends Julia a link: 'Tell us about your issue or injury'

Want to refer patients?

About me

Musculoskeletal pain can be both exhausting and frustrating. As an athletic trainer, I’m devoted to helping people navigate their pain through education and customized treatment plans. I enjoy helping my patients understand their body’s response to injury and physical stress while addressing the biomechanical or anatomical cause of their pain. I’m dedicated to helping people return to their lifestyle pain free and armed with the knowledge and awareness to prevent future injuries.

Special interests

My special interests include performance based dysfunction, sports injury rehabilitation (specifically involving trunk and hip instability), and complex overuse injuries in high level competitive sports.

Clinical scope

Provide on-site emergency care
Evaluate progress and diagnose functional deficits
Perform manual therapies

How I move

I love finding new ways to stay fit and competitive. I grew up in the snow but love the ocean; enjoy snowboarding, soccer, softball, and basketball... and surfing is next on my list! I like circuit and interval workouts, traveling, and hiking/exploring with my girlfriend and pup.
